Pictured Rocks Camp Decommissioning Service
Pictured Rocks United Methodist Camp has impacted countless lives since it’s commissioning as a United Methodist ministry in 1961. At the conclusion of this year’s summer camping program, Pictured Rocks will be acquired by Camp Courageous and will continue on as a campsite that primarily serves people with disabilities.
You are invited to be a part of celebrating the ministry of Pictured Rocks and the lives that it has impacted at a special decommissioning service at 4:00 pm on August 25, 2019, at Pictured Rocks Camp in Monticello, IA. During this special time, you can expect to hear from speakers and have an opportunity to be on the grounds where lives have been shaped in the name of Christ for nearly 60 years.
